The services celebrating and honoring the life of Vickie Roades, 72, of Enid, will be held 11:00 A.M. Monday October 27, 2025, in the Waukomis Christian Church with Pastor David Jones officiating. Burial will be held privately in the Waukomis Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Brown-Cummings, A life celebration home. Vickie was born January 31, 1953, to Bobby E and Billie M. (Cox) Roades in Enid, Oklahoma and was greeted in heaven by her beloved grandson Cole October 22,2025, in Enid, Oklahoma. She was raised and educated in Waukomis, graduating from Waukomis High School with the class of 1971. In 1988 she went to work for Coldwell Banker Reality as a realtor and a bookkeeper and had just recently retired. She loved her Coldwell Banker family. She dedicated her life to raising and caring for her niece Lacey and was so proud of her. She was always a quiet helper to those around her, and she had a servant’s heart. She enjoyed her online shopping and was passionate about holistic health care. She is survived by her niece Lacey Adams and husband Jeff, of , Florida, one brother Robert Roades, of Enid, two uncles Greg Cox and wife Patti and Darrell Cox; and two aunts, Colleen Thomason and Marie Cox. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bobby and Billie Roades; her beloved grandson, Cole Adams; and one aunt, Kathiann Long. Memorials may be made in her honor to the Waukomis Christian Church or to Bennies Barn with Brown-Cummings serving as custodian of the funds.
