Jerry Roades Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Turner & Son Funeral Home and Crematory on Dec. 13, 2025.
Jerry Dean Roades, age 68, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 11, 2025. He was born on June 1, 1957, in Wilmington, Ohio, the son of the late Joseph Roades and Mary Lucille (Rhoads) Roades.
A 1977 graduate of Hillsboro High School, Jerry spent 20 dedicated years working for PC Connection in Wilmington, where he built many friendships and was known for his steady work ethic and easygoing nature. He was a proud member of the Hillsboro Eagles Aerie #1161, where he enjoyed time spent in fellowship and laughter with friends.
Jerry was a true Ohio sports fan through and through. Whether cheering on the Bengals, celebrating a Reds win, or faithfully following the Ohio State Buckeyes, he loved every moment spent supporting his teams.
Jerry is survived by his two children, Amy Roades of Hillsboro and Tim Roades of Hillsboro; five grandchildren, Mariah, Marcus, Karley, Nicolas and Hailee; two brothers, Larry (Darlene) Roades and Tony Roades; three sisters, Joy (Danny) McCoy, Ginny (Richard) Brown, Tammy Schalke, and many nieces, nephews and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Melany Roades, a sister, Nancy Fulkerson, and a special aunt and uncle, Marilyn and Clarence Varvel.
Celebration of Jerry's life will take place at a later date at the convenience of the family. The Turner & Son Funeral Home and Crematory is serving the family. To send flowers to the family or plant a tree in memory of Jerry Roades, please visit our floral store.
