Vicky Lynn Ashley

VICKY LYNN PROSSER ASHLEY, age 66, of Fayetteville, Tenn., departed this life on Friday, June 7, 2024, following a brief illness at Maury Regional Medical Center in Columbia, Tenn. Mrs. Ashley was born in Tullahoma, Tenn. on June 10, 1957, to the late Huey O. Prosser and Barbara Ann Eslick Prosser. She was a 1975 graduate of Tullahoma High School. Mrs. Ashley was a Christian. She was last employed for approximately 20 years as the Apartment Manager for government housing in Tullahoma. She loved to read and enjoyed going to Yard Sales to find books and unique items. She also liked to play on her tablet, drink her diet coke with extra ice and eat anything chocolate. Her favorite Movies and T.V. shows were the ones about True Stories. Most of all she enjoyed her grandchildren. She will be remembered for her wonderful sense of humor, her free spirit and most of all the love she had for her family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Harvey Ashley. She is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Towry, son, Jameson Ashley and wife, Hannah all of Fayetteville, Tenn., brothers, Bobby Prosser and wife, Sharon of Estill Springs, Tenn., Huey Prosser of Linden, Tenn. Grandchildren; Caitlin Stephens and husband, Alex of Belvidere, Tenn., Madison Haley and husband Peyton of Estill Springs, Tenn., Chase Towry of Huntland, and Jacob Ashley. Great-grandchildren, Aiden and Asher Stephens.
Services will be conducted at 3:00 P.M. Tuesday, June 11, 2024, in the Chapel of Grant Funeral Services.
Visitation will be held from 1:00 P.M. Tuesday prior to the service at 3:00.
Interment will follow in the Maplewood Cemetery in Tullahoma.
