Vicky Jo Jenkins

Vicky Jo Jenkins (Coey), 49, of Carlisle, Pennsylvania, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, December 8, 2025. 

Born in Angeles City, Pampanga Philippines, Vicky lived there until the age of 18 before moving to the United States, where she spent many years building a life for herself and her family in Ohio and later in Pennsylvania. Vicky was known for her incredible work ethic—often working multiple jobs—and for the strength, resilience, and love she carried through every chapter of her life. 

Vicky’s faith was a steady anchor. She enjoyed attending church, listening to worship music, and finding peace in her relationship with God. She also loved cooking Filipino dishes that reminded her of home, always eager to share a warm meal with the people she loved. Selfless by nature, Vicky put family first in everything she did. Her love language was gift-giving—she found joy in surprising others with thoughtful gestures, big or small, simply to make them feel loved.

 She especially loved decorating for Christmas—often long before Thanksgiving—because the season brought her so much happiness and warmth.

 In her free time, nothing brought her more joy than being with her children and grandchildren. Her presence was warm, steady, and full of love, and she poured herself into her family with her whole heart. 

Vicky is survived by her children: daughter Roselen Fegley and son-in-law James Fegley; daughter Samantha Jenkins; daughter Holly Jenkins and soon-to-be son-in-law David Tchintchin. 

She was a proud and devoted grandmother to Daisy Fegley, Madelynn Fegley, and Kaliyah Tchintchin. She is also survived by her mother Elizabeth Coey; siblings Rosemarie Coey, Vickie Reid, Holly Krzeminski, Phillip Coey, and Robbin Kruse; as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends who loved her dearly. 

Vicky is preceded in death by her beloved son Perry Jenkins, birth mother Antonia Avante and her father Phillip Coey. 

A memorial service for Vicky will be held at Hoffman Funeral and Cremation, 2020 W Trindle Rd, Carlisle, PA 17013, on January 10, 2026. Visitation will take place from 10:00 to 11:00 AM, followed by a memorial service at 11:00 AM to honor her life and the incredible person she was. The service will be led by Pastor Bob Beaty. Her legacy of faith, love, generosity, and strength will continue to live on in everyone who had the blessing of knowing her.
