VICKY MCGEE Obituary
Vicky Lynn McGee, the daughter of the late Veo and Afisha McGee was born on October 31,1957 in Indianapolis, Indiana. She was the seventh child of the McGee lineage.
Vicky professed a hope in Christ at an early age and was baptized by the late Rev. A. M. Hughes of St. Luke Missionary Baptist Church. Vicky was a servant of the Lord at St. Luke Missionary Baptist church. She frequently attended Greater Mt. Calvary Apostolic Church as well.
Vicky was a graduate of Arlington High School. She was very active in sports. She was an avid softball player. Her favorite position was short stop. If she was throwing the ball to your position, be assured it was certainly delivered with force.
Vicky worked many years at Indiana University Hospital, St. Matthew Catholic School and the Children's Guardian Home. She loved children and working with people in general. Never one to meet a stranger, she had an outgoing personality, which endeared her to everyone she met. Kind and generous by nature, she was a "people person" always there to encourage and help others.
To know her was to love her. Vicky believed in living life to the fullest. She had a unique way of making others feel loved. She had a strong faith in God and an extreme love for her family and friends.
Vicky Lynn McGee was called home to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, June 19th, 2025 at the age of 67. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Veo III and Dwayne, sisters, Rena and Elisha, son, Theodore "Teddy," and one great-grandchild, Aspen.

McGee (Marshall) Taylor, Darline (Jesse) Russell, Sr, Charlene Green, all of Indianapolis, Indiana and Claressa A. McGee of Louisville, KY; Art Watkins who was like a son; nieces and nephews; many great nieces and nephews; other relatives and many special friends.
Her love for her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren was unparalleled and she taught them the importance of kindness, faith and the value of family.
