It is with heartfelt sadness that we announce the passing of Victor Hugo Garcia, a beloved husband, father, son, brother and grandfather, who departed this life on November 19, 2025, at the age of 65. He was born March 9, 1960, in Rio Bravo Tamaulipas Mexico, to Mr. Victoriano Garica & Mrs. Maria Capetillo. He was a man of integrity and strength, teaching his sons the values of hard work, compassion, and perseverance.
He is preceded in death by his father, Victoriano Garcia.
Victor is survived by his loving spouse of 42 years, Maria Guadalupe Garcia, whose unwavering devotion was a source of comfort and support throughout their years together; four sons, Hugo Garcia (Monica), Victor Ivan Garcia (Karina), Cristian Omar Garcia (Aimee), Alan Garcia (Phyllishia); his mother, Maria Garcia; seven brothers,Victor Manuel Garcia, Juan Manuel Garcia, Javier Garcia, Abel Garcia, Refugio Garcia, Heriberto Garcia, Heribaldo Garcia; five sisters, Rosalinda Garcia, Maribel Garcia, Raquenel Garcia, Nora Garcia & Blanca Garcia. Also surviving are ten grandchildren. His legacy continues through his children and grandchildren, who carry forward his love and teachings.
The celebration of Victor's life will begin with a viewing at Salinas Funeral Home of Weslaco - Chapel of the Heavens on Sunday, November 23, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM, followed by a Rosary at 7:00 PM. Families and friends are invited to gather to share their memories and honor the life of a remarkable man.
A 1:00 PM Funeral Mass in his memory will be held at San Martin de Porres Catholic Church on Monday, November 24, 2025, where we will come together to reflect on the joy and love Victor brought into our lives. Immediately following the Mass, Victor will be laid to rest at Highland Memorial Park.
As we remember Victor Hugo Garcia, we celebrate his enduring joy, wisdom, and the love he shared. His spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew him, guiding us with the light of his memory. May he rest in peace.
