Victor P. Kline, 84, of Fremont passed away on December 25, 2025 in the comfort of his home with the love and support of his family surrounding him.He was born on April 19, 1941 in Risingsun to the late Joy and Helen (Fullmer) Kline.
Victor was a 1959 graduate of Risingsun High School. He worked for Carbo Tool and Die, was an over-the-road truck driver for several years, later retiring from B & W Welding in 2004.In 1965, he married the love of his life, Clarabelle Theresa Stacklin in New Washington, Ohio.
Victor was a member of St. Ann's Catholic Church. In his free time he enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating, and spending time with his grandchildren.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Clara; children, Jim (Monnà) Kline of Montgomery, TX and Brenda (Mike) Shoemaker of League City, TX; grandchildren, Erika (Gabriel) Garcia, Elise Kline, Jason (Sarah) Shoemaker, Katie (Justin) Gomez, Olivia Shoemaker and Hagan McGlothlin; great-grandchildren, Emerson Gomez and Maya Gomez; siblings, Ruthann (Gary) Cerny, Bill (Sandra) Kline, Donald Kline, David Kline; and sister-in-law, Holly Kline.
He is preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Joanne (Robert) Harrington and Roger Kline (Holly); and sister-in-law, Marianne Kline (Donald).
Visitation for Victor will be held on Tuesday, December 30, 2025 at the Herman-Karlovetz Funeral Home & Crematory, Fremont from 5-7 PM with a Vigil service being held in the evening. There will be an additional hour of visitation at the funeral home on Wednesday morning from 8:30-9:30 AM. A Funeral Mass will follow at St. Ann's Catholic Church, Wednesday at 10:00 AM.
Memorials may be made to St. Ann Catholic Church, the Macular Degeneration Association or Campfire.
