Dear Nash family:
I had the honor and privilege to have Dr. Nash as my professor and co-mentor in my days at Mississippi State University (1982-1989). Dr. Nash inspired me to try to be a good Christian and a scientist. I will never forget his lessons in Christianity, Soil Chemistry and Clay Mineralogy. I just found out that he passed away this past February. My heart-felt condolences to the Nash family and all his former students that like me had the privilege to know him.
He lives forever in the presence of The Lord and in his legacy as a Christian, teacher (professor and mentor) and scientist.
Truly,
Carlos Gauggel
