Victor Pelaez was born on April 15, 1939, in the town of Tauca, Ancash, Peru. His parents were Nery Pelaez and Dora Timoteo, there were 5 brothers and he was the second of them.
He loved making clothes and was a tailor, he was passionate about what he did.
In 1965 he met the love of his life, who today is his wife Ana and in 1968 they got married. From the fruit of that love, 4 children were born, 2 women Marleny and Veronica and 2 men Victor and Arturo. He was a very loving husband and father, he always made an effort to give them the best materially, but the best he gave them was love, joy, and a lot of security.
In 1985 he came to Los Angeles, USA and brought his family that same year.
He was a great man loved by many people for his simplicity and love for others, he was a great servant of the Lord, and he worked for many years in the Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish in the city of Los Angeles being a Eucharistic minister.
At the age of 50, he was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease, a degenerative disease that he had for 35 years and incapacitated him for all those years. He was a strong man who endured several surgeries and thanks to the technology of this country he was able to live a quiet life.
He lived in Los Angeles, North Hollywood, Van Nuys, and finally in Rosamond where he lived for 22 years. At the end of his years, he was more worn out by his health, God took pity on him and he was called to His Presence on November 5th at 7:01 a.m., leaving a great void in our hearts, we know that he will be with us for the rest of our lives.
