Victor LaRue Rozier, 70, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 12, 2025, at The University of Pennsylvania Hospital in Philadelphia. He was born on July 18, 1954, in Lumberton, North Carolina, to Callie (McEachin) Rozier and William T. Rozier.
Victor was a graduate of Bok Vocational High School and was known for his humor, wisdom, and generous spirit. He cherished time spent with family and friends, always willing to lend a helping hand. Affectionately known as the "Godfather," those who knew him understood why he carried that title with pride.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Callie (McEachin) Rozier, and his brother, Thomas Rozier. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his longtime companion, Debra Grant; his father, William T. Rozier; his sisters, Stephanie Ellis, Sharon Thomas, and Thomasina Gonzales; his brothers, Darrell Rozier and Christopher Rozier; and his children, Victor Rozier, Denisha Cooper, Victoria Rozier, and Veronica Gilliard. He also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren who will continue to carry on his legacy.
Victor's life was one of love, laughter, and generosity. He will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
The family would like to express their sincere gratitude for all the love and support during this time.

We have lost a stand-up individual and pillar of the community with the passing of my friend and old-head, Vic. He was a throwback to a bygone era, when a handshake meant something and taking eye-to-eye met you were a man of your word.
Your work here is done, my friend; rest well until we meet again.
