Victor Tenorio Obituary
Victor was dedicated to his lifelong pursuits in the kitchen as a professional chef. He shared New Mexican cuisine that he learned in his Dad's restaurant, "Taco Delite", formerly in College Plaza. Victor made American, Mexican, European, and Asian dishes exciting and inspiring. He nourished hundreds of thousands of people throughout his life. Victor was a movie fanatic, a fisherman, a snowboarder, and a wonderful father. He will be missed by all.
Victor is preceded in death by his father, Joseph Tenorio; sister, Katy Gutierrez.
Victor is survived by his children, Izreyl Tenorio and Belicia Tenorio; his mother, Mary Lou Tenorio; his brothers, Rick Tenorio and David Tenorio; his sister, Gloria Moran.
A celebration of life for Victor will be held at Sky Ute Casino on November 22nd, 2025 from 12:00pm to 2:30pm. Please bring a story about Victor to share. Burial will follow at Greenmount Cemetery at 3:00pm.

My condolences goes out to all his family. Victor was a great cook. I worked with him and he taught me a lot. It has been quite at work. We don't here his deep voice and deep laugh anymore. RIP Victor

I did not know the Tenorio children, but remember his parents fondly, and my heart goes out to all his loved ones but especially his Mom who I do remember well.. We shared a love of the music of Jose Iglesias, and one day when I came in for my favorite "fix", she gifted me a copy of his latest video recordings. Without fail, every holiday someone mentions the Taco Delight Christmas tamal. (She always used the standard Spanish of un tamal, dos tamales...) My condolences to all who grieve from another bereaved parent.

My condolences to his family, I knew Victor from working with him all those years at the Sky Ute Casino where I was the F&B Manager. Victor was a part of the kitchen and restaurant. He was a great person with loving and showing what he knew about what it takes to be a chef. I was extremely, gratify to have known him. My prayers to his family. Victor will truly be missed by his employees and the people knew. RIP Victor.
