Victoria Marie Cocco (DiRusso), of Peabody, passed away peacefully on September 12, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on November 15, 1957, to the late Joseph and Dorothy Iannino.
Victoria was the beloved wife of 49 years to David Cocco Sr., with whom she shared a marriage filled with love and devotion since 1976. She was the cherished mother of Christine Rivers and her husband Wesly, and the late David Cocco Jr. and Joseph N. Cocco. A devoted sister, she is survived by Phillip DiRusso and his wife Nancy, Dorothy Evans and her husband John, and Phyllis Sawicki and her husband Daniel.
She was a proud and loving grandmother to Adam LaBarge and his wife Alli, Caleb Cocco, Aubrey Cocco, Serenity Cocco, and Ethan Cocco, and a doting great-grandmother to Kaiden and Isiah. She also leaves behind many loving nieces and nephews who will forever hold her in their hearts.
Victoria's life was filled with service, family, and faith. She worked with the Nashua Public Schools as a member of the cafeteria staff and volunteered with the VA food service in Haverhill. She was a faithful parishioner of Immaculate Conception Church. She and her husband lived in Somerville and Florida before settling in Peabody, always keeping family at the center of her life.
Known as the "life of the party," Victoria brought joy, laughter, and warmth wherever she went, there was never a dull moment. She especially loved Christmas gatherings with her family and watching the children play, creating memories that will be treasured by all who knew her.
Her family extends a heartfelt thank you to the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers for the compassionate care and comfort they provided.
Family and friends will honor Victoria's life by gathering at the Ruggiero Family Memorial Home North Shore, Peabody, on Monday, September 15th from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
