Dr. Victoria Howie Plaster Whitelock

Dr. Victoria Howie Plaster Whitelock, devoted wife, mother, and physician, died peacefully on October 9th, 2025 in Norfolk, VA.
Vicki was born on December 5th, 1935, in Shelby, NC to the late Dr. Hubert Seaford Plaster and Ruth Howie Plaster.
She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Dr. Leland "Lee" David Whitelock of Norfolk, VA, daughters Elizabeth Whitelock Hilton (Phil) of Lancaster, SC, Dr. Lillianne Whitelock Troeger Kinney (Michael) of Mechanicsville, VA, and Dr. Susan Whitelock Bennett (Joshua) of Mechanicsville, VA as well as granddaughters Carolyn Ruth Bennett and Sarah Kinney Crowley (Chad).
A 1964 graduate of the University of Maryland Medical School, she started her career in the US Public Health Service in Baltimore, MD and concluded it decades later as a civil servant supporting the US Navy in Occupational Medicine in Norfolk, VA. She was dedicated to her family and an active member of Larchmont United Methodist, where she sang in the choir for many years.
Words cannot adequately express her family's heartfelt thanks and gratitude for the years of loving care Vicki received in the Memory Care and Skilled Nursing units of Harbor's Edge in Norfolk, and for the services of Suncrest Hospice, who tended her with compassion and respect in her final days.
A Celebration of Life service for Vicki will be held at a later date.
