Obituary of Victoria Sue Kaminskas
Victoria Kaminskas, 63, of Mary Esther, FL, departed this earthly life on January 18, 2025.
She was born in Joliet, IL on September 24, 1961 to Donald and Marie Scheidt. She graduated from Joliet East High School, class of 1979. After high school, she trained to become a licensed barber and kept that license until 2017. Her haircuts will be missed by all, especially by her 2 grandchildren who gave her the name of "Grammy Haircut".
She loved the ocean, beach and sun. Growing up in the Midwest, living in Florida was her ultimate life goal. She got to live that lifelong dream out and was accompanied by her loving sisters. One of their many favorite activities was playing bingo, where they have made many lifelong friends. Vicki was a breast cancer survivor and was the light in every single persons life who met her. She was a lifelong Chicago Cubs fan, taking much pride when they won the series in 2016. She will be deeply, sorely missed by all her knew her.
Victoria is survived by her 2 children, Kristin (Finnegan Stasi) Kaminskas and Joseph (Crissy) Kaminskas Jr; 3 grandchildren, Aurora Stasi, Joseph III and Ariel Kaminskas; sisters, Cathy (Mike Wrona), Laurie (Chuck) Gober, Denise Scheidt; brother, Ed Scheidt; one aunt and one uncle, numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her fiancé Joseph Nurczyk; parents, Donald and Marie (nee Norman) Scheidt; nephew, Michael Scheidt, and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
As per Vicki's wishes, there will be no services. She will be put in her final resting place, next to her loving Joe, in the Alcove of Love, indoors at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Joliet, IL. Anyone is welcome to stop by and pay respects.
