Linder (Ribas), Victoria L. "Vicki"

Victoria "Vicki" L. Linder (ne?e Ribas), age 79, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away suddenly on August 28, 2025. She was born on September 21st, 1945 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Dayton, Ohio to the late Antonio and Norma (Moore) Ribas. She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband of 58 years, Larry J. Linder. Vicki is survived by her sons, Matt (partner, Lori), and Bryan (Mindy); seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild; brother, Denis (Barb) Ribas; sister, Debbie (Danny) Marrero; nieces and nephews. Vicki graduated from Fairmont West High School in 1963 before attending Miami Valley Hospital School of Nursing, graduating in 1966. She married her love, Larry J. Linder in 1967. She worked her entire nursing career at Miami Valley Hospital, spanning 48 years until her retirement in 2014. She maintained her nursing license after retirement and provided wellness checks to parishioners at Aley United Methodist Church where she attended and sang in the choir. She was a member of Sigma Beta philanthropic organization for more than 50 years, and dedicated many hours of service to benefit charities. Vicki was the quintessence of a caretaker and grandmother. She always thought of others before herself. She was a dedicated caregiver to her husband through his declining health. She spoiled her grandkids with trips to local parks, arcades, and libraries, and indulged them in their favorite hobbies, always having their favorite snack or drink on hand. Vicki enjoyed watching sports of all kinds, especially The Ohio State Buckeyes. She loved spending time with her family and friends. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the National Kidney Foundation or the Sigma Beta Inc. National Charity Fund. Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 13, 2025 from 10:00 am to 12:30 pm at Newcomer Centerville Chapel (820 Miamisburg-Centerville Rd., Dayton, OH 45459).
