VJ Monarchy
Victoria Josephine Sanna Monarchy, of Beckley, passed away Saturday, June 15, 2024, at Bowers Hospice House. She was the daughter of the late Michael and Josephine Greco Sanna. Besides her parents, Sanna was preceded in death by her brothers, Sam, Leonard, Paul and Nick Sanna and sisters, Margaret Sizemore and Mary Harrison.
Victoria was a homemaker, of the Baptist faith and enjoyed reading, cooking, painting and playing bingo with friends at Mountain State Bingo and was the genealogy person of the family. She loved going to the beach and growing vegetable gardens while also taking special care of her flowers.
Victoria is survived by her husband, Robert Earl Monarchy; daughters, Tamela Wheby and her husband Tony of Beckley, Keri Darlington and her husband Jeffrey of Charleston and grandsons, Matthew Wheby of Beckley and Benjamin Darlington of Charleston.
Funeral services will be 1pm, Wednesday, June 19, 2024, at Calfee Funeral Home with Sam Harper officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park. Visitation will be Tuesday, June 18, 2024, from 6-8pm at Calfee funeral Home and 1 hour before the service on Wednesday.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations be made to Bowers Hospice House, 454 Cranberry Dr., Beckley, WV 25801.
