Victoria "Mimi" Sanders,70, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away surrounded by the people who cherished her most on Tuesday, December 9, 2025, at her home in Southaven, MS.

Vicki was born July 27, 1955 at Hayti, Missouri to Bob & Margie Morgan. She attended Caruthersville schools & graduated from CHS class of 1973. After high school, she attended and graduated from Arkansas State University in 1977, with degrees in business education & office administration. Once she received her collegiate degrees, Vicki moved to Memphis. On June 2, 1979, she married Michael David Shirey and was married to him until January 2004. On April 29, 2004, Vicki married to Kirk Sanders and they remained happily married until her death.

A lifelong Methodist, Mimi lived her faith with quiet strength, steadfast values, and a seriousness that grounded everyone who knew her. She was known for her honesty-often blunt, always sincere-and for the unmistakable way she carried herself through life: with intention, elegance, and a touch of flair.

Mimi had a deep love for Christmas, a season she celebrated with all the joy her heart could hold. Her home was always transformed into a festive wonderland, each decoration placed with care. She delighted in Christmas lights, flea markets, and the small treasures that made life feel warm and magical.

She enjoyed life's simple pleasures as much as its adventures. Mimi loved getting her nails done, spending an afternoon at the casino, relaxing by the pool in her backyard, and attending concerts and shows at the Orpheum-experiences she embraced with her signature style. She was always impeccably dressed, a reflection of the pride she took in presenting her best self to the world.

Above all, Mimi cherished her grandchildren. They were her greatest joy, and she poured her love, attention, and wisdom into each of them. Her presence-strong, loving, and unmistakably Mimi-will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

Her family celebrates her life with gratitude for the laughter she brought, the traditions she created, and the love she gave so freely.

A visitation will be held Saturday, December 13, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., with a funeral service following at 1:00 p.m., all at Coleman Funeral Home of Southaven (626 Star Landing Road East, Southaven, MS 38672). Coleman Funeral Home of Southaven is in charge of arrangements.

Vicki is survived by her husband of 21 years, Kirk Sanders, Sr., of Southaven, MS; her children, Elizabeth Ann (Adam) Shirey Sykes of Eads, TN, Amanda Lea (Will Smith) Shirey of Coldwater, MS, Kirk Sanders, Jr., of Meridian, MS, Kalen (Briana) Sanders and Kameron (Samantha) Sanders both of Hernando, MS; her six grandchildren, Kaylee Sanders of Hernando, Landon Sykes of Eads, Kolin Sanders of Hernando, Khloe Sanders of Hernando, Dylan Sykes of Eads, and Stefan Sanders of Hernando; her brother, Robert E. Morgan Jr., of Lebanon, TN; her best friend, Marilyn (Stan) Hathaway of Memphis, TN; and many beloved friends and extended family members.

She was preceded in death by her grandson, Kaden Sanders; and her parents, Robert "Bob" E. Morgan, Sr., and Margaret Kindred Morgan.
