Dear Frank and Donna,
I think of Tori often, especially on my eldest son's birthday which he shared with her, albeit she was 3 years older. I remember on our first morning living in Nazareth, Tori was the very first person to ring our doorbell and ask if our 3 boys could come out and play. That is one of my fondest memories of your precious daughter and one that I'll always cherish. She was very special.

Tory was a great friend and miss her everyday. She was such a wonderful person, gone way too soon.

What happened caught me off gaurd, and I heard about all of this after the fact, but I was going through my phone today and saw at the bottom I still had a few text messages from the last time Tori and I spoke...
I know many of you don't know me, but I knew Tori from college and the Student Government Association. I've never known someone who was so fun-loving, free spirited, and as many have said; unafraid to be herself and speak her mind. In that sense, she's always been an inspiration to me. My heart goes out to Ben and all the Family.
I will dearly miss her friendship.

Donna, I was reviewing the notes from our lunch and saw the website link. I had a nice time looking through the website and all the pictures. She looked very happy in all of them and it seems that her short life was very blessed.

I think about Tori every single day, there isn't a day that goes by where I dont think about all the great times we had together, all the birthday parties I went to, when she went to prom, her being at the daycare and doing my nails and hair for me all the time! Not to mention I got my wearing two different colored socks from her and I still and will never match my socks(: I'm so glad I had her in my life, she was like a sister too me.
Rest easy tori, I love you<3

Ben
I am Keisuke'sfather.
I knew your website in a Donna's mail.
As you know,Keisuke was a Japanese exchange student and Tori and he had lived together for 2 years from 1995 to 1996.
They were like a brother and sister.
He knew many things about USA form Tori and she also knew about Japan.
So,the news of Tori's loss came as a great shock to all of us.
When we see many Tori's photos in your website, we weep over a loss.
We would like to offer our sympathy and condolence to you.

Yesterday we went to Kohls to pick up a few items that we needed. Everything was fine until we reached the sox isle and tears began to stream down my face. I am sure the people at Kohls probably were thinking there is some crazy person over there crying over sox's, she probably has had WAY to much Christmas shopping. But the sox made me think of all the special things that made OUR VICTORIA exactly who she was. She was smart and had a mind of her own. She loved people but she didn't have to be one of the crowd. She wasn't afraid to be different, or to speak her mind, or to defend the defenseless. We were always amazed that children and animals always gravitated towards Tori, they seemed to sense the fact that Tori would protect and cherish each and every one of them.
Tori also had a strong sense of right and wrong: these were values that we believe we, as her parents, instilled in her but we strongly believe those values were reinforced by other important adults in her life, like her Grand Parents, Shihan, Uncles, and Aunts. Some of the Grand Parents, Uncles and Aunts were by blood, others by marriage and others she adopted. If it takes a community to raise a child, we have the best community in the world, so thank you all for that.
The sox also made me think of how silly it seemed, at least to me, that they never matched but that was also part of her charm. As we all know, Tori had a smile that could light up a room; she had a laugh that was contagious; and a spirit that was unmatched by anyone we ever knew. Until she got sick, her energy was endless as was the love of her family and friends. Tori had the ability to find and see wonderful qualities in every person she met.
Tori loved her husband Ben, even though his sox always matched. She loved us very much and for those of you who don't know, she called us every night at 9 PM on the dot to say good night and to tell us she loved us. We are so thankful that we will always have that.
We ask that you carry on Tori's legacy and that is protect those who are unable to protect themselves. Encourage those who are struggling to do the right thing. Find the humor in life because it may be shorter than we expect and every morning when you put on your sox, please think of Victoria and say a prayer for her.
Many thanks for all your love and support, we are eternally grateful.

Donna and Family,
I only ever had the privlege of meeting Tori at DP once while there with my kids. She was so nice to them and made them both smile and laugh, which is something special given how shy my daughter is. Not many people have that gift, but she certainly did. I'm so very sorry for your loss and will keep you and your family in my prayers. She'll never be gone as long as you keep her in your hearts and prayers.
With Love,

Tori was such a special girl and I feel fortunate to be able to call her my daughter-in-law. Her zest for life, quick smile and ever present hugs were all infectious and she brought sunshine and joy to all who knew her. It was quite obvious how happy she always made Ben. Although physically Tori is no longer in our presence her spirit will live on in our hearts and minds -- creating pleasant memories each and every time we think of her.
Death is nothing at all.
I have only slipped away into the next room.
I am I and you are you,
Whatever we were to each other, that we still are.
Call me by my old familiar name,
Speak to me in the easy way which you always used.
Put no difference in your tone,
wear no forced air of solemnity or sorrow,
laugh as we always laughed
at the little jokes we enjoyed together.
Pray smile, think of me, pray for me.
Let my name be ever the household word
that it always was.
Let it be spoken without effort,
without the trace of a shadow in it.
Life means all that it ever meant,
it is the same as it ever was.
There is unbroken continuity,
why should I be out of mind
because I am out of sight?
I am waiting for you
somewhere very near
just around the corner.
All is well
Rest in Peace, Tori---Love, Selena

Tori was such a special girl & I feel fortunate to be able to call her my daughter-in-law. Her quick smile, zest for life and always ready hug was infectious----and she made Ben so very, very happy. There are no words that can adequately explain the sadness and emptiness we all now feel, but Tori's spirit will forever live in our hearts and minds.
