Victorino Fuentes

Victorino Fuentes, a devoted husband, father, son, brother, and friend, passed away on February 19, 2026 leaving behind a legacy of hard work, generosity, and unwavering love for his family. He was the proud father of Alison Simona Lara, Abigail Hailey Lara, and Aiden Victorino Lara, who were the center of his world.

Victorino made his home with his wife Felicia Vasquez in Alvarado, Texas, where he found joy in the simple, meaningful parts of life—working on his truck, feeding his goats, and caring for his home. He was a man of many trades, gifted with the ability to fix, build, and create. More importantly, he was always willing to lend a hand to anyone in need. His kindness and readiness to help others defined him just as much as his skills.

He was the beloved son of Victorino Lara and Yolanda Castillo. He is survived by his wife Felicia Vasquez and his children Alison Simona Lara, Abigail Hailey Lara, and Aiden Victorino Lara.

His sisters: Martina Salas, Domitila Calzada and Marisol and Tony Prater. Victorino was also cherished by his many nephews—Mariano, Joseph, Mario, Tony, Juan, Jose, Jorge, Javier, and Jorge—and his nieces, Chantel and Maricela.

Victorino’s presence will be deeply missed, but the love he shared and the memories he created will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
