Vieng Vone Eddie Rasachanh

Vieng Vone Eddie Rasachanh, or as most of us knew him, Eddie or Bing Bong, was born in Richland, WA on July 21, 1981, and spent most of his life in Boise, Idaho, where he became known as the local "Fish Whisperer." Eddie's love for fishing was only surpassed by his love for people.
A compassionate soul with a heart bigger than any fish he'd ever catch, Eddie was unmatched in generosity and love. It was his nature to take care of people's hearts, ensuring everyone felt loved, cared for, and heard. If you had a bad day, a conversation with Eddie would leave you feeling like you were loved and would never be alone.
Eddie was also a man of many talents, and his interests were as varied as the fish in the sea. When he wasn't casting a line, he could be found golfing, camping, shooting, snowboarding, or on one of his many adventures with June Bug. He was the kind of guy who would give you the shirt off his back, then jump into a freezing river to retrieve your lost golf ball.
As a devout Buddhist, Eddie embodied the teachings of Buddha, "Radiate boundless love towards the entire world - above, below, and across - unhindered, without ill will, without enmity."
Eddie is survived by his father, Phil "Phone" Rasachanh, his mother, Maly Rasachanh, his brother, Ek Inthavong, his sister, Anna Inthavong, several neices and nephews, and his little fur-girl, June Bug. The family will honor Eddie's memory with a service on Saturday, January 18, 2025 at 2:00 PM MST at Bella Vida Funeral Home (9661 West Chinden Boulevard, Boise, Idaho, 83714). The service will be followed by a reception where attendees are encouraged to share their favorite "Eddie-isms."
