My hear felt condolences to the family. I was shocked to hear the passing of Dr Thaper. I had known him since 1978. Dr Thapar helped me and my family when no one was willing to help us. I will never forget that. He was a good person. Always helping and guiding. It was because of him my daughter has gained a quality of life. I will forever be thankfull. All I can do is pray for your soul to be with God. May you rest in peace!!

Dr Thapar was my Dr since I was a little kid with severe allergies and asthma. He was always willing to help me and even opened his home to me when I refused to go to the hospital. He helped me come back from Las Vegas when I was paralyzed in July 2012. He was always so kind and funny, and always making fun of my weight haha. I miss him and I'm truly sorry for the hurt his family must be feeling.

Dr. Thapar was my Doctor. He was always nice and kind and caring to my family. I will miss him saying "Hello, my little Doctor," with his big smile, when he came into the room and saw me. My family and I went to his funeral and it is very sad to know he has passed away. It will be sad to not see him at the office again.

This man was amazing! He had a heart of gold and the sternness to tell me the way it was! He was my dr 13 years and I will seriously miss him. When I told my kids of his passing they where both in shock as he cared for them their intire lives. My heart goes out to the family may he rest in peace

Dr. Vijay Thapar was a wonderful man, kind, considerate, extremely knowledgeable.
He dedicated over four decades to being a family physician of the highest regard. He ran the busiest family practice in Edmonton. He was never one to rush his patients, and took the time to listen to what you had to say. He actually cared about helping his patients the best he could, it wasn't just a business for him.
