Vilaire Jerome Pierre was born on October 18, 1950, in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, to the late Franklin Jerome Pierre and Julia St. Louis. As the eldest of ten siblings, he is remembered by his brothers and sisters Elsie, Denise, Gerard, Jean Camille, Norma and Gladys. He now joins his late siblings Nicole, Daniel and Beatrice.
At a young age, Vilaire developed strong leadership skills that would serve him well throughout his life. He earned a bachelor's degree in accounting before migrating to Montreal, Canada, where he met the love of his life, Jocelyne Pierre, with whom he shared 50 wonderful years of marriage. Together, they raised three daughters: Kathleen, Audrey, and Tamar, and were blessed with five cherished grandchildren-Kimberly, Genesis, Nolan, Brooke, and Bryce.
Driven by a continuous desire for self-improvement, Vilaire relocated his family to Elizabeth, New Jersey, where he laid down deep roots. This journey set him on the path to an extraordinary legacy. From humble beginnings, he demonstrated unwavering persistence and determination, overcoming numerous challenges along the way. His growth mindset fueled a variety of successful business ventures, including clothing stores, medallion ownership, rental properties, beauty salons, hair product stores, and his cherished P & P Agency.
On Friday, September 20, 2024, Vilaire Jerome Pierre was called home to be with the Lord, leaving behind a lasting impact on all who knew him.
