Vilene Not Afraid

Vilene Estelle Not Afraid, 35, left us tragically on March 25, 2023. Vilene was born to the late Joyce Stump & Vidal Not Afraid Sr. in Billings, MT.
Vilene lived and grew up in Billings, she was full of life & always enjoyed her family and friends' company. She made us laugh & would crack the silliest jokes and was very spontaneous. She was a hard worker and would help family & friends in any which way she could. She helped take care of her sister Julia's children and her brother's JRs children along with her adopted children like they were her own.
They loved her to the fullest, she was there by their sides through thick & thin and to even just listen, she was there. She made very good friends wherever she went. Vilene was kind-hearted with a big vibrant soul and would give the shirt off her back. She worked for the Union, she traveled to different places in Montana and out of state to work. She would always put together social gatherings just to bring everyone she loved together. She loved the outdoors and especially loved fishing.
Vilene is proceeded in death by her mother Joyce Stump, and her aunts Carmella Not Afraid, Kathleen Stump, Valeria Iron, Marlene, Colleen, and Jolene Not Afraid. Grandparents: Patrick & Julia Stump and Aileen Not Afraid. Uncles: Darrell Stump, Leon Stump, Leslie Stump, Glen Stump, Duane Costa, and Oliver Costa. Her great grandparents: John Stump, Sophie Indian, Rose Plenty Good, and Agatha (Bruce) House. Brother: Colen Gibson, Sisters: Sonya Sun Child, Sylvia Russette, Ursula Stump, Heather Not Afraid. Niece: Donita Bell and brother-in-law, Levi Beaumont. Best Bud: D.J Jenson
She leaves behind her sons: Steven, Jordele, and Jordan Not Afraid whom she gave her last name to, her best friend: Cassandra Jewel Bull Shows, Sisters: Julia Stump Rides Horse, Misty Red Star Beaumont, Julie Not Afraid Three Irons (Danny), Janet Chase (Paul), Deidhra Hill, Ashley Gunshows (John), Shante Leyva, Lisa Martinez, and Val Hugs. Aunt: Jobyna Stump Not Afraid, Laverne (Wells) Bulltail, Darlene Bird Far Away, Patrice Not Afraid Warlene Well Known. Brothers: JR Not Afraid, Joshua Rides Horse, Shawn, Darelle, Leslie Jr., Cree Stump, and Gary Hugs.
