Vilma Rosa Quesada, 69, of Gettysburg, died Thursday, July 10, 2025 at her home. Born August 18, 1955 in Okinawa, Japan, she was the daughter of the late Maj. Antonio Quesada and Joaquina Bello Quesada. Vilma worked in management at Montgomery Wards, The Limited Corp., Ames, Taping Tools. and later she enjoyed working at Serenity Hair Salon and Gettysburg Battlefield Bus Tours. Vilma is survived by son Jacob Mathis, granddaughter Jaden Mathis, special grandson Nathan Imes, sister Emily Quesada-Colmenero and her late husband Frank, sister Gloria Quesada-Mathewson and her husband Steve, nieces Alexis Lara and her husband Wesley, Whitley Figueroa and her husband Edward and her pet cat King Louie. She is also survived by lifelong friend Jennifer Roberts and Jennifer's son, Brandon Fuson, extended family Melissa Melton and partner Kurt Iobst as well as Tim and Libby Herb and their children Mallie, Gage and Mairin. A Celebration of Life service will be scheduled for a later date. The Jeffrey N. Zumbrun Funeral Home, 6028 Sykesville Road, Eldersburg, Maryland is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.
