Vincene Walker Obituary
Vincene was affectionately known as Kim. She graduated from Libbey High School and from Owens Community College with a degree in Marketing. She attended the Nursing Resource Corporation and received her Nursing Assistant Licensure. She also attended Penta Career Center and received her certification as a Certified Medical Assistant.
She was employed with Spring Meadows Senior Community as an STNA. Medical Staffing, Lake Park and St. Vincent Hospital as a STNA and Patient Care Technician. North Coast Behavioral Health Care Facility as a Therapeutic Rehabilitation Worker and at Anne Grady as a Direct Support Respite Care worker. Prior to her medical career she worked at Fifth Third Bank as a Credit Analyst.
Kim devoted her time to helping to care for her father with her sisters after she retired. She loved her grandchildren dearly and enjoyed spending time with them every day. She also enjoyed going to the casino, traveling and spending time with her friends and family. She looked forward to traveling with her sisters and having Girls Trips with them. Kim will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
Kim was preceded in death by her father, Vincent Ward and mother Mary Ward, sister Anita Young and brother Douglas Jones.
She leaves to cherish her memory her Children Kiara Walker, and Maurice Walker (Cartina Baucom), her grandchildren Lyrik, Legacy, TJ and Adonnis, Sisters: Vivian Crawford, Carolyn Ward Young (Charles), Helen Hicks, Dayna Copeland, a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins, friends and special friend Keith.
