Vincent Monroe Acison

Vincent Monroe Acison 74, of Fulton passed away on May 13, 2024 at SSM Hospital in Jefferson City.
Vince was born September 3, 1949 to the late Paris M. and Frances J. (Giboney) Acison.
On May 11, 1973 Vince was united in marriage to Becki (Lutz) Acison, she preceded him in death on July 8, 2023.
After high school Vince joined the United States Marine Corps serving overseas during the Vietnam War. Vince earned the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal with 1 star, Combat Action Ribbon, Vietnam Campaigning Medal with device, Navy Commendation Medal with V and The Good Conduct Medal. Vince and Becki owned Biggins bar until 1976. Vince was a longtime member of the Teamsters Local Union #955 from which he retired. He was a lifetime member of the VFW and served as commander of The Fulton VFW Post 2657 during 2006-2007.
Vince is survived by his daughter, Nikki Thomas (Danny) of Fulton; brother, Robbie Acison (Brandi) of Carl Junction; granddaughter, Cassidy Thomas of Fulton and many nieces and nephews.
Vince was proceeded in death by; Becki his wife of 51 years; parents, Paris and Frances Acison and brother, William Acison.
Memorial services will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, May 20, 2024 at Maupin Funeral Home with Pastor Bruce Williamson Officiating. The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Fulton VFW Post 2657 Scholarship funds.
