Jay was born in Ellisville, Missouri, on March 28, 1968, the son of James Alford Petty and Wanda Lee Griffin
Petty.
Jay was a car enthusiast, dirt tract race fan, gear head and grease monkey, crafter and enjoyed fishing.
Jay will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by three daughters; Victoria (Thomas) Shields of Holts Summit,
Missouri, Krissy (Matt) Barry of Huntsville, Alabama, and Nicole (Justin) Daniels of Linn, Missouri, eight grandchildren;
Mara, Lilith, Tirion Shields, Colby Lutz, Sofia, Justin Jr., Isabella and Eryana Daniels. two sisters; Sandra (Marc) Compton
of Huntsville, Alabama and Denise Petty of Belle, Missouri.
Jay's wishes were to be cremated and services to be held at a later date.
