Mark Kaiser Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Maupin Funeral Home - Fulton on Feb. 5, 2026.
Mark William Kaiser, 76, of Kingdom City, Missouri, passed away peacefully at his home on January 29, 2026.

He was born on September 23, 1949, in St. Louis, Missouri, to the late Paul Kaiser and Anna (Claxton) Finkelstein.

Mark was united in marriage to Donna Lee (Smith) Kaiser for 56 years, who survives his passing.

Mark proudly served his country in the United States Navy from 1969 to 1974. Following his service, he built a life centered on family, home, and friends that brought happiness to everyone around him.

Mark loved spending time outdoors and could often be found barbecuing with a cold RC, caring for his yard and watching the wildlife around him. His family fondly joked about his legendary "Savage Tan," a testament to the many hours he spent enjoying the sunshine. Mark also enjoyed telling stories, listening to blues, doing Elvis impersonations, watching X-Files, and travelling out west to take in the beautiful scenery. Mark did not enjoy his children drinking his ice-cold tea while he was out mowing the lawn, but he loved them still the same. Mark loved many dogs he had throughout his life, especially his current furry companion, Samson. Most of all, Mark cherished the company of his family and friends that he held so dearly.

Those that remain to cherish Mark's memory are his wife, Donna; sons, Nathan Kaiser (Sarah), Joel Kaiser (Maranda Fritchey); daughter, Angela Maddalone (Mike); brother, Luke Kaiser (Jackie Marcoux); grandchildren, Aaron Hillis (Shay Barreda), Stephen Kaiser, Henry Kaiser, and Jacob Kaiser, Mia Maddalone, Michael Maddalone II, Trevor Tinker Alina Fritchey, and Parker Barreda.

In lieu of flowers, please send any donations to your local animal shelter or another charity of your choice, in memory of Mark Kaiser.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Maupin Funeral Home on Tuesday, February 10, 2026 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm. Interment will be held on Wednesday, February 11, 2026 at 12:00 pm at Missouri Veteran's Cemetery in Jacksonville, Missouri with full military honors.
