To Aperawic´s family,
Ruthie and Rita (Allen Gerner daughters) send our condolences to the family. Our Dad Al and Vince were good military friends. I, Rita, also worked with your Dad at the NYT not knowing that our Dads were friends. We were trying very hard to show up at the viewing to give our respects to Vince and his family but unfortunately it did not work out. In memory of Vince we are planting a tree in his name to live on forever. God Bless. So sorry for your loving loss.
