Vincent Coleman Bryant, 64, was granted his wish to see Jesus on July 19, 2025, after a long battle with his health. He was born on October 19, 1960, in Decatur, AL, to Ronald Coleman Bryant and Jerry Morris Bryant. He married Terri Lynn Bryant on April 7, 1984. They had two children: Camellia and Ron.
He worked for Pizza Hut for many years and lived in several different places while working his way to area supervisor for North Alabama. He realized that being away from his family often was not the life that he wanted. He moved his family back to Decatur, AL, at that time. He then worked at Onan making generators for several years. After the plant's closing, he took some classes at Calhoun and found his love of writing code. He taught himself many computer languages and wrote programs for various businesses and corporations in several countries. He started Silver Services and multiple other online companies. He loved being able to work from home during this time. He was able to retire early due to his health and loved being able to spend time on his hobbies.
Vincent loved Jesus, not a church, but Jesus. He had a personal relationship with Him, and he studied the Bible. He undoubtedly knew that one day he would meet Jesus. He loved to help others and always said that helping others is not for others to see. No one truly knows how many people he helped. Vincent was not just a self-taught expert in almost everything. He loved animals, and he loved to learn. He was also an avid researcher, collector, and creator of many things. He made rings from coins, sold them, and collected, cleaned, and resold them in some of his later interests. He could make anything from anything. He was a deep thinker with much intelligence. He had dry, sarcastic humor that could irritate and make you laugh. He never doubted his humor, regardless. He enjoyed politics, but only if you agreed with him. If you didn't, he also enjoyed arguing.
According to him, his legacy was not anything he did or any job he held, but his family. Vincent loved his family more than anything. He loved his wife Terri of 41 years unconditionally. The only thing close to this fairy-tale love was his love to aggravate her. He took much pride in this. They were funny together. He had two kids, Camellia and Ron. He put much thought into their decisions and never took being a parent lightly. Camellia met Allen, and becoming his father-in-law was his favorite. He loved everything that Allen did. He was a proud Poppa to Paxton, Carson, and Hudson. He volunteered as a caretaker so Paxton and Carson did not have to attend daycare. He took pride in this and, though inexperienced, he did it well. This Poppa daycare experience did not happen without some hilarious, unforgettable moments for everyone. Hudson came later when his health wasn't as stable, but he loved him just as much. He bragged on them with many pictures included to anyone who did or didn't want to hear. He was a loyal son until his parents met Jesus. He loved his brother Andy, who was always there for him, along with his wife Lorie and their kids, Nicholas (and his mom Debbie), Natalie, and Naomi. He was also a lifetime best friend to Frankie Kilgore, who was more like a brother.
Vincent was unconventional, genuine, and heartfelt. He fought a hard, long fight to see as many moments as he could here on earth. He will be missed daily, but we take pride knowing his final wish was granted. He is with Jesus.
His parents, Ronald Coleman Bryant and Jerry Morris Bryant, preceded him.
He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Terri Lynn Bryant, Daughter Camellia Lynn Bryant Rawls (Allen), Son Ron Bryant (Kim), Grandsons Paxton Bryant Gibbs, Carson William Rawls, and Hudson Coleman Rawls, Granddaughter Clara Bryant, Brother Andy Bryant (Lorie), Nieces and Nephews Nicholas Bryant, Natalie Bryant, and Naomi Bryant, Lifetime best friend Frankie Kilgore, and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A Graveside Service and Interment will be held on Wednesday, July 23, 2025, at 1:30PM in Herring Cemetery. A visitation will be at Peck Funeral Home from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM on Wednesday, prior to the service.
Pallbearers will be Allen Rawls, Paxton Gibbs, Frankie Kilgore, Naomi Bryant, Daryl Sandlin and Cape Sandlin. Honorary Pallbearers will be Carson Rawls, Hudson Rawls, Nicholas Bryant and Natalie Bryant.
