Vincent Anthony Cascone, 89, of Concord, passed away Monday, July 29, 2024 at his residence, surrounded by family.
Mr. Cascone was born April 28, 1935 in New York City to the late Frank Cascone and the late Sadie Cascone Di Meglio.
Mr. Cascone was a kind, generous man and was a true friend to many. He was married 58 years to the love of his life, Enza. They shared a bond that was recognized by everyone. He was a true testament to a perfect husband. Mr. Cascone loved those damn "Yankees."
Survivors include wife, Enza Cascone of Concord, NC, daughter, Sandi (John) Scocca of Concord, NC, daughter, Marie Cooke of Lido Beach, NY, daughter, Valerie (Mitch) Conlon of Seattle, WA, granddaughter, Brianna Scocca of Concord, NC, granddaughter, Amelia Conlon of Seattle, WA, granddaughter, Hannah Conlon of Seattle, WA, granddaughter, Courtney Cooke of Brooklyn, NY, granddaughter, Carlyn Cooke of Massapequa, NY, brother-in-law, George Schinina.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm, Thursday, August 1, 2024 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Harrisburg. The funeral service will be on Friday, August 2, 2024 at 1:30 pm at St James The Greater Catholic Church in Concord, officiated by Father Glenn Parker . Burial will follow at the Carolina Memorial Park Mausoleum, Kannapolis. A reception will follow at Hartsell Funeral Home in Harrisburg.
