Vincent Lee "Dangerzone" Cherry II Age 41, of River Falls, Wisconsin, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, August 8, 2025. Vincent was born February 23, 1984, in San Diego, California, the son of Vincent and Delores (Marshall) Cherry. As a young boy, the family made the courageous move to Wisconsin, settling in Ladysmith. He attended school there before enrolling at Wisconsin Academy in Columbus, where he began a lasting friendship with Krysta (Hasbrook) Kahveci. That friendship grew into a union, later blessed with the greatest gift they could ever imagine-a son named Dymion. In the early 2000s, Vincent made River Falls home, where he and Dymion have lived ever since.
Vincent was a master of many trades, especially those that required skill and creativity with his hands. He became a talented painter and carpenter, working on new construction projects in Minneapolis and tile installations for places such as Kwik Trip. His skills extended to road construction, and he later served as a team leader for Renewal by Andersen.
How did he earn the nickname "Dangerzone"? Simple-if it involved adventure, speed, or risk, Vincent would be first in line. He loved extreme sports like snowboarding, longboarding, and slacklining, always chasing the thrill that kept him coming back for more. Yet of all the adventures in his life, his greatest joy was being called "Dad." Whether it was showing Dymion the fun side of life or spending a quiet day at home battling him in video games, those moments were the heart of Vincent's world. He also took great pride in his physical fitness; at his peak, he looked like a figure straight from the pages of a body building magazine.
Vincent was raised in a loving home and knew the promises of God and eternal life through Christ's resurrection. To him, family was everything, and his sisters always knew their baby/big brother was just a call away if they needed him.
Vincent is survived by his son Dymion; parents Vincent and Delores; sisters Myisha, Geanna, Sasha, otherwise called 'Brother' as they were very close; niece Kiara; co-parent Krysta. He is preceded in death by his grandparents David and Henrietta Cherry, Smith and Catherine Marshall.
Funeral services for Vincent "Dangerzone" Cherry II will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, August 24, at Hudson Seventh-day Adventist Church, 1349 27th Street, Hudson, WI 54016. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will follow at St. Bridget Cemetery in River Falls. Memorials are appreciated to help support his son's upbringing.
