Vincent Correa Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Castle Ridge Mortuary - North on Feb. 9, 2026.
Vincent Correa passed away peacefully and surrounded by his loved ones on January 23rd, 2026. Born on November 15, 1951, in Guantanamo, Cuba, Vincent's life was a testament to his resilience and the boundless amounts of warmth and laughter he cultivated. From proudly growing up in New York City, to settling in Miami, Florida, and finally San Antonio, Texas, Vincent's journey never lacked love.

A devoted husband to his wife, Rhoda Castañeda, and a loving and dedicated father to his four children, Vinny Correa, Barbie Esquijarosa, Josiel Correa, and Jael Correa. He is survived by his siblings Rebecca Martinez and Hector Santos; as well as his granddaughters: Amaya, Leilani, Bella and Gemma. His nieces and nephews: Eddie, Danny, Millie, Giuseppi, Dawn, Jaclyn, and Heather. His dedication to his family was an unwavering pillar of support and a constant we could all rely on.

Vincent Correa was a kind soul ready to do anything for those he loved. He loved many, and many loved him back.

Vincent's legacy is one of generosity and devout love. His legacy continues not only through his surviving family, but by the outpour of consideration and kindness he put into all those around him. His welcoming smile and selflessness will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. We share this loss with many and as we say farewell we are all encouraged to laugh as loud as he, and live life like he did; God fearing, joyfully, genuinely and honest.

We celebrate Vince's life loudly and proudly; while his journey on Earth has been completed, he has left his mark and legacy for all of us to tell. This is not a good bye: for we know we will see each other again through Christ.

I am so sad to learn of Vince's passing. We were co-workers and worked together often on customer accounts.
I do know that Vince loved his NY Knicks basketball team! He could talk all day on that subject.
It was a pleasure to know Vince. May God bless his eternal soul. My condolences to his family.
