Vincent Daddio Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Lacy Funeral Home from Jan. 10 to Jan. 19, 2026.
Vincent "Vince" Daddio,
February 9, 1945 – January 9, 2026

Stephenville - Services for Vincent "Vince" Daddio, 80, building contractor, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, January 23, 2026, at the Lacy Funeral Home Chapel with Father Matthew Sanka officiating. Burial will follow at the Erath Gardens of Memory Cemetery. A Rosary will be held at 6:00 p.m., Thursday, January 22, 2026, at the Lacy Funeral Home Chapel with visitation to follow until 8:00 p.m.

Vince was born in the Bronx, New York, on February 9, 1945. He spent 30 years with Wanda Louise Daddio, and they officially married on April 8, 2023, in Huckabay, Texas. She preceded him in death on October 11, 2023.

He was a member of St. Brendan's Catholic Church and an Honorary Life Member of The Knights of Columbus. Vince loved auto racing, classic cars, spending time with his family, his cats, helping people, and watching "Gold Rush." One of the biggest things on his bucket list was to own another 1966 GTO. He searched for many years to find one like he had in New York in his twenties. He accomplished that goal for his 80 th birthday last year. His Red 1966 GTO was his dream and will be taken care of by his children.

In June of 1977, Vince along with Linda Daddio, the mother of his 4 children and lifelong friend, decided to move from West Islip New York to little ole Stephenville Texas. He was determined to have a better life for his family. He built a lot of homes and commercial properties in Stephenville and surrounding communities. He was very passionate about his work in construction for over 50 years. He along with his son, James, invented and patented EZ Vent-N-Closure, a metal roof venting system. His family is very proud of all he accomplished in his field.

Survivors include children, Michael Daddio of Fort Worth, Texas, Christine Daddio Tuttle of Stephenville, Texas, Wil Daddio of Mineral Wells, Texas, and James Daddio and wife, Kristina, of Stephenville, Texas; his grandchildren, Kandis Harvey and husband, Patrick, of Carson City, Nevada, Trae Tuttle and wife, Kendra, of Carson City, Nevada, and Cheyenne Sharp and husband, Nick, of Blue Mound, Texas; great-grandchildren, Rayli Mathis, Olivia Sharp, Charlie Tuttle, Beau Tuttle, Sawyer Harvey, Stella Harvey; brother-in-law/best friend/confidante and sidekick for 60 years Carmen Lia and wife, Donna, of Stephenville; his siblings, Ernest D.
