Vincent Edward Lynn, a beloved figure whose laughter brightened the lives of many, passed away on February 12, 2026, at Baptist Health Paducah. Born on March 12, 1971, in Mayfield, Kentucky, Vince was a dedicated family man whose warmth and kindness left an indelible mark on everyone fortunate enough to know him.
Vince was proud to serve in environmental services at Paducah Tilghman High School, where he cultivated lasting relationships and impacted the community through his work. A graduate of Paducah Tilghman High School, he carried a deep sense of pride for his alma mater throughout his life.
His jovial spirit and charismatic personality were truly remarkable; he could turn any moment into a celebration, and his good-natured humor brought joy to countless gatherings. He possessed a creativity that shone brightly, demonstrating that even in difficult times, there is room for laughter and light. Vince was the best son, grandfather, brother, father, uncle, and husband, always striving to create cherished memories with his loved ones.
Vince is survived by his Devoted Spouse, Laurie Lynn of Paducah, KY, Their Five Daughters: Obri’on (Michael) Senter-Blakney of Sacramento, CA, Juelmiyah Lynn, Joiyah Lynn, Valencia Lynn, and Amber Mason, all of Paducah, KY and 21 Grandchildren. He also leaves behind HIs Mother, Rosa Shelton Lynn of Mayfield, KY, Four Brothers, Harry Lynn, Jr. of Paducah, KY, Vicc Lynn of Mayfield, KY, Thomache' Lynn, and Shandel Lynn of Mayfield, KY. His Loving Aunts, Sheryal Shelton and Suzanne Shelton, both of Mayfield, KY, along with his Father-In-Law, William Mallory, Jr. of Cordova, TN, and a Host of Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, and Friends are also left to cherish his memory.
Vince has been reunited with those who preceded him in death, including his father, Harry Lynn, Sr., paternal grandparents Elvis Lynn and Edna Todd, maternal grandparents William Shelton and Gracie Shelton, as well as his grandson Zy'Aire Barner, 2 uncles, 3 aunts, and his mother-in-law, Patricia Hill.
Vince's legacy lives on through the laughter he shared, the love he gave, and the light he spread. He will be missed immensely by his family and all those whose lives were touched by his kindness and humor.
A Memorial Service has been scheduled for Friday, February 20, 2026, at 12:00 Noon (CST) at Harrison Street Missionary Baptist Church, with Reverend Dr. James L. Hudson officiating.
The Memorial Service will be livestreamed on the Pettus-Rowland Funeral Home, LLC Facebook page beginning at 11:45 a.m. (CST).
There will be no visitation.
