Vincent Maxwell McHugh (36) Born: October 20, 1985, Died: July 14, 2022
Vincent McHugh passed away unexpectedly on July 14th, 2022, while on vacation in Miami, Florida.
Vincent lived life large. He was a proud family member of the McHugh clan. He was both a gentle giant and a bull in a china shop at the same time! He had a huge heart and absolutely loved holidays and celebrating milestones with his love Jess and extended "Framily". He was fun loving, charismatic, goofy, competitive, and a louder-than-life presence to all.
When Vincent was not on top of the world scaling tall buildings as a Journeyman Ironworker (Local 5), he could be found enjoying his free time outdoors: hunting, fishing, 4-wheeling, boating, jet-skiing, or at the beach knocking out the top score on the boardwalk punching bag. He was passionate about sports and all things Ravens and loved working out at the gym. He was a member of the Willow Grove Rod and Gun Club with his dad and many uncles and cousins.
Vincent is survived by his fiancée and soulmate Jessica Jones AKA "Snickers," his Son Jordan McHugh, his parents: Sharon, Tim, and Maureen "Mo" McHugh, his Sister Joan McHugh (Lindsey Ward), his Aunt Linda "Linny" Archibald, and his Grandfather Nick Fontana. Special In-Laws: Joanne and Samuel Jones, Jennifer Jones, niece Lilly, and nephew Mikey. He is survived by a huge extended family of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Vincent joins a special band of family in heaven: Mom Moms Joan Fontana and Ruth McHugh, Grandfather Paul McHugh and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Vincent's spirit and passion for life were contagious. He believed and was an active participant in the Annapolis recovery community since 2016. At the time of his passing, he was full of joy and his heart was full!
Please consider a donation in Vincent's memory to one of the following lifesaving support groups: Harcum 180 Inc. at harcum180.org and The Helping Up Mission in Baltimore, MD at helpingupmission.org.
