David S. Sigwart, passed away on February 6, 2026, in Severn, Maryland, at the age of 63. Born on February 23, 1962, in Baltimore, Maryland, David was a devoted family man and an enthusiastic mentor to many throughout his life.
Dave forged a successful career in proposal management and consulting, where his professionalism and insight greatly impacted his colleagues and clients alike. Beyond his professional endeavors, he was known for his generous spirit and willingness to help others.
Education played a significant role in Dave's life; he graduated from Calvert Hall College High School and Loyola University, where he built the foundation for a life dedicated to learning and growth.
He cherished his family, including his beloved wife of 40 years, Lisa Sigwart, and their three children, Kenneth Sigwart (Bonnie), Kathleen Turner (Devon), and Kevin Sigwart (Lauren). The joy of being a grandfather was evident in his relationship with his granddaughter, Maeve Turner. Dave is also survived by his dear mother, Marsha Sigwart, and his siblings, Michele Leisher and Melissa Richman, who all shared countless treasured moments with him. He was predeceased by his father, Gerard Sigwart, Jr.
As a passionate member of his community, Dave found great fulfillment in coaching youth sports, including his active involvement in Archbishop Curley wrestling and Seton Keough field hockey. His commitment continued with the Monsignor Slade Band, where he supported young talents and celebrated the arts.
Dave's love for life extended beyond his family and work; he enjoyed golfing, photography, and traveling to new places. He embraced each opportunity with enthusiasm, leaving lasting memories for those fortunate enough to share in his adventures.
Visitation services will be held at Singleton Funeral and Cremation Services PA, located at 1 2nd Ave SW, Glen Burnie, MD 21061, on Friday, February 13, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and again from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
David S. Sigwart will be remembered not only for his accomplishments but for the warmth he brought into the lives of those around him. His legacy of kindness and mentorship lives on through his family, friends, and all whom he touched throughout his remarkable journey.
