Education played a significant role in Dave's life; he graduated from Calvert Hall College High School and Loyola University, where he built the foundation for a life dedicated to learning and growth.

He cherished his family, including his beloved wife of 40 years, Lisa Sigwart, and their three children, Kenneth Sigwart (Bonnie), Kathleen Turner (Devon), and Kevin Sigwart (Lauren). He was predeceased by his father, Gerard Sigwart, Jr.

As a passionate member of his community, Dave found great fulfillment in coaching youth sports, including his active involvement in Archbishop Curley wrestling and Seton Keough field hockey. His commitment continued with the Monsignor Slade Band, where he supported young talents and celebrated the arts.

Dave's love for life extended beyond his family and work; he enjoyed golfing, photography, and traveling to new places. He embraced each opportunity with enthusiasm, leaving lasting memories for those fortunate enough to share in his adventures.
