Vincent J. Piccirilli, Esq., 92, of Johnston RI, passed away on Thursday, December 26, 2024.
Vincent was born in Providence, RI to the late Serafino and Lucia (Renzi) Piccirilli. A graduate of Providence College and Boston University Law School, Vincent practiced law for more than 50 years, notably at the firms Nutini, Palombo & Piccirilli, and Piccirilli & Sciacca. Prior to his career as an attorney, Vincent proudly served as a First Lieutenant in the United States Army during the Korean War.
A loving and devoted father and grandfather, Vincent was at his happiest when hosting family and friends, especially with lots of Italian food and wine. He is survived by his wife Elaine (Testa) Piccirilli, his children Susan Piccirilli; Vincent J. Piccirilli Jr. and his wife Anita; Carol A. Piccirilli; Gregory P. Piccirilli and his wife Elizabeth; and his son-in-law Scott Brown, husband of the late Lori L. (Piccirilli) Brown. Vincent also leaves behind the grandchildren who filled his life with joy: Jacqueline Tally, Michael Tally, Joseph Piccirilli, James Piccirilli, Dana Brown, Samuel Brown, Nicholas Piccirilli and Isabella Piccirilli. He was preceded in death by his sister Maria Rolanda Almonte and his former wife Gloria (DiBiase) Piccirilli.
Vincent's funeral will be held Monday, December 30, 2024 at 9 a.m. from the Maceroni Funeral Home in North Providence RI, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Michael’s Church, Smithfield RI. Interment with Military Honors will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston RI. Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 29, 2024 from 4 - 7 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations in Vincent’s memory may be made to Disabled American Veterans. DAV">https://www.ihelpveterans.org/content/about-DAV
