Vincent Royal

Vincent Royal, 92, passed away February 23, 2026. He was the loving father of Denise Royal (Jeremy Kolb) and Jaime Royal; proud grandfather of Sylas;

Vincent spent his life doing what he cared about most - taking care of people. As a nurse, he showed up every day with compassion, steady hands, and a big heart. He earned his RN and later his MBA, always looking for ways to grow and to make things better for his patients and the people he worked with.

When he wasn't working, Vincent loved being outdoors. In his younger years, he enjoyed fishing and the peace it brought him. As time went on, he picked up golf and found joy in the game and the friendships that came with it. Beyond his profession, Vincent was a proud grandfather. Nothing brought him more joy than talking about his grandson and daughters and spending time with them. His love for his family was deep and constant, and he carried that same warmth into every part of his life.

Visitation will be held Friday, March 6 from 10 am until time of service at 12 noon at N.H. Scott & Hanekamp Funeral Home, 1240 Waukegan Road, Glenview. Interment All Saints Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The American Red Cross.
