Vincent L. Williams

Vincent Lee Williams, 57, of Springfield, Massachusetts, departed this life on Sunday, November 26, 2023, at his home.
Born in Springfield, he was a beloved son of Emery Roy Williams and Mrs. Sadie Bell "Jacob" Williams. Vincent attended Springfield schools and grew up in a devout Pentecostal household with traditional values and a strong Christian belief. Vincent loved to cook and loved his Cadillac, but more importantly loved, loved, loved people. He loved his family and attended any family event that he could. Vincent was a hard worker at many different companies in Springfield. He led a life of compassion and patience.
He leaves his "Special Children", Bryant Branch and Ebony Branch; his brother, Bobby Ray Williams Sr. (and wife, Margaret Williams); his sisters, Maggie Louise Christian, Ernestine Guy (and husband, James Guy), Dessa Ann Pope (and husband, Aaron Pope), Penny Lee Allwood (and husband, Roy Allwood), all of Springfield; special grandchildren, Tyrone, Jasi, Meadow, and A'laya Lillie Emery Branch. He also leaves behind his grandpup, Storm Branch, as well as a host of close nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The calling hour is 10 a.m. Wednesday, December 20, 2023, at Gethsemane Church of Jesus Christ, 47 Harvey Street, Springfield, MA, followed by the funeral at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery.
