Viola Jaramillo Obituary
Viola Jaramillo, a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother passed away peacefully on January 19, 2026 at the age of 85.
Viola was born on May 17, 1940, to Valentina and Martin Duran. she later married her soulmate, Efren N. Jaramillo, who proceeded her in death.
She was also proceeded in death by her parents, Valentina and Martin Duran, her siblings Lucille Duran, Martin Duran Jr., Tina Gallegos, and Nancy Gonzales.
Viola is survived by her son Richard Jaramillo, her daughter Kathy Karns and son-in-law, Donald Karns, her grandchildren, Donna Fay, Lisa Karns, Desaray Karns and Anthony Martinez and her great grandchildren, Julie Karns, Jade Fay, Serenity Karns and Samia Lucero.
She is also survived by her stepchildren Dolores and Craig Trull, Betty and Max Garcia, Jane and George Sandoval and Nick Jaramillo Jr., along with their children and grandchildren.
Viola is further survived by her siblings, Gertrude Tafoya , Paul Duran, Anna Harnandez brother-in-law Pepe Hernandez, and sister-in-law Joann Duran, as well as many, beloved nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
Viola will be remembered for her love of family, her strength and her kind heart. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Memorial services will be announced at a later time.
