Viola "Vickie" Marsh Viola "Vickie" Gay Marsh, 47, of Fairmont passed away at her home on Friday, April 24, 2015. She was born in Charleston on October 26, 1967. She is survived by her mother Billie May Williams Sanders of Fairmont and she was preceded in death by her father George Aaron Sanders. She had worked in for the Times West Virginian in the circulation department. Vickie enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing and just time by river in God's Nature. She was an avid music enthusiast. She most of all enjoyed time with her family, especially her grandchildren. In addition to her mother she is survived by her loving husband of over 20 years Charles "Chuck" Marsh; two daughters Jessica Toothman and her fiancé Josh Asbury of Fairmont and Bethanne Heater and her husband Allen of Fairmont; two step children Joey Marsh and his wife Gracie of Philippi and Chris Marsh and his fiancé Paula Gordon of Fairmont; one brother Keith Palmer of Kentucky; one sister Christie Thomas of Princeton; seven grandchildren Alyvia Tucker, Emalee Tucker, Christian Tootman, Charles Asbury, Matthew Marsh, Megan Dadisman, and Tra Asbury; and her godmother Cheryl Morris. In addition to her father she was preceded in death by her biological parents Chris Thomas and Brenda Collins and close friends Debbie Glover and Edgar King. Friends may call at the Carpenter and Ford Funeral Home on Monday from 1 – 9 p.m. and Tuesday from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Services will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, April 28, 2015 at 2:30 p.m. with Pastor Bob Barker officiating. In keeping with Vickie's wishes her body will be cremated following the service. Memorial contributions may be made to Carpenter and Ford Funeral Home, 209 Merchant Street Fairmont, WV 26554 to offset funeral costs.
