Viola "Toddy" Ruona

Miss Ruona was my homeroom teacher at Springman Jr. High. At that time it was called Glenview Jr. High. I always used my pencils to drum on my desk. She finally had to give me a pencil when I got to her class so I wouldn't have two to drum with. I remember her giving me a look when I started to do my pencil thing. All these years later, I DO play drums and very well. I have many fond memories of Miss Ruona and often wondered about her. I am so sorry to hear of her passing and wish I could have seen her again to revisit those times. It would have been such a pleasure to see her again. My sincerest condolences for your loss.
