Viola Zdenahlik Obituary
Viola Mildred Zdenahlik, 97, of Peoria, Illinois passed away on December 13, 2023 at Manor Court at Liberty Village of Peoria. She was born on November 18, 1926 in Chicago, Illinois. The daughter of Frank and Sophie (Zachotina) Zdenahlik.
She worked as a document examiner for the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives for 37 years retiring in 1981. Viola belonged to various organizations in Berwyn, Illinois.
She is survived by niece Katherine Allin of Peoria, Illinois, Sandra Lukes of Cedar Lake, Indiana; grandnieces Jennifer Dawson of Fremont, California, Heather (Joshua) Cooper of Portland, Oregon; great-grandniece Iyla Dawson of Fremont, California and great-grandnephew Luke Cooper of Portland, Oregon.
Viola was preceded in death by her parents; sisters Mary Lukes, Rose Zdenahlik; brother Frank Zdenahlik; nephew William and grandnephew Robert Lukes
Cremation Rites have been entrusted to Cumerford Clary Funeral Home of Peoria, Illinois.
The family would like to thank the staff of Manor Court at Liberty Village and Vitas Hospice for their care and helpfulness.
