Violet M.Diciolla, a beacon of love and resilience, gracefully departed this world on December 1, 2025, at the remarkable age of 100. Born on January 23, 1925, Violet's life journey was one of profound impact, woven with the threads of family, faith, and unwavering spirit.

Violet was the cherished daughter of Frank and Antoinette (nee Barnara) Minnona, who instilled in her the values of kindness and determination. As a loving sister, she navigated life alongside her siblings: Mary (Angelo) Macino, Antoinette (Joseph) Volpe, Mildred (Albert) Mason, Ann (Gabe) Casalino, Jean (Louis) D'Attomo, and Fran (Herb) Stott. Each bond was a chapter in a rich story that moved beyond the immediate, touching the hearts of many throughout her life.

Violet is The Loving Wife of The Late Carl Diciolla; Violet's legacy is carried forward by her devoted sons, Joseph C. Diciolla and Frank Diciolla, who, along with their families, reflect the warmth and strength that she embodied. She took immense pride in her role as a grandmother to Joseph F. (Shannon) Diciolla, Michelle (Mike Hamburg) Diciolla, Tom (Erika) Diciolla, Tyler (Jenny) Diciolla, Carl (Kim) Diciolla, Anthony (Alissa) Diciolla, Justin Diciolla, and Amanda Seidel. The joy she experienced as a great grandmother to 15 lovely souls is testament to her enduring legacy; her presence will resonate through generations.

In a celebration of Violet's extraordinary life, visitation will take place on December 5, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Salerno's Rosedale Chapels in Roselle, Illinois. A prayer service will follow on December 6 at 8:30 AM, leading into a beautiful Mass at St. Gertrude Catholic Church in Franklin Park at 10:00 AM. The outpouring of love witnessed during these ceremonies will be a reflection of Violet's rich tapestry of relationships, profound connections, and pervasive love for family and friends.

Violet M. Diciolla will be remembered not just for the years she lived but for the love she generously shared—a vibrant spirit whose legacy will forever shine in the hearts of those she embraced. As her family and friends gather to celebrate her life, they will carry with them the lessons learned from a remarkable woman, whose gentle grace and spirited resolve will be felt long into the future.
