In loving memory of Violet Alma Jauregui
July 2, 2006 – February 20, 2026
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Violet Alma Jauregui. Violet was a cherished young soul who left us far too soon at the age of 19 on February 20, 2026, in her beloved hometown of Denton, Texas. Her passing has left an immeasurable void in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. Born on July 2, 2006, Violet was not only a daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece, and cousin, but a kind-hearted soul to many. Her middle name, Alma, literally means soul.
Educational Background and Work History
Violet graduated from Billy Ryan High School, marking a milestone in her life as she was just beginning to navigate her path in the world with a wide, bright road ahead of her. She worked as a Sales Associate and proudly took on the role of Santa's Little Helper at Five Below during the Christmas holiday season, this embodied the spirit of joy and kindness that she shared with everyone around her.
A Creative and Courageous Spirit
From a young age, Violet found her expressive grace on the stage, shining as a ballerina and quietly overcoming her shyness. She later discovered her powerful voice in choir. During high school, Violet was a dedicated member of the choir. Her courage to perform vocally was a true testament to her determination and passion. Violet also volunteered in Football Operations, where she captured the best moments and the energy of Ryan football games through her photography and videography. Beyond the sidelines, Violet expressed her boundless creativity through the digital worlds of Roblox and Minecraft. She also found joy in singing and drawing. Whether through the harmony of song or the delicate strokes of her pencils and brushes, Violet's work was a vivid reflection of her soulful imagination, creative talents and artistic abilities.
A Life of Simple Joys
Her interests were as vibrant and diverse as her personality. Violet enjoyed singing, dancing, drawing, photography, gardening and nature. She wholeheartedly enjoyed spending time with her family and cherished babysitting her cousin, Lily. She found solace in watching Japanese animations and musicals, including favorites like Attack on Titan, Demon Slayer, Hunter x Hunter, My Neighbor Totoro, Sanrio's Pompompurin and Wicked. A lover of sweets and delicious meals, she delighted in Dubai Chocolate, Starbucks Coffee, and dining at Chipotle and the Olive Garden.
Her Legacy of Love
Violet was known for her kind, sweet, and thoughtful demeanor. Her compassion and unwavering love for others left a significant impact on those fortunate enough to know her. Violet is survived by her mother: Kris Garcia, her brother: Jake Alvaro Jauregui Garcia, her grandparents: Alvaro and Mary Garcia, her aunt: Heather Collard, her uncle and aunt: David and Tiffany Morales, her cousins: Ashley Cousins, Terry Robert Cousins, III (AKA "TR") and Lillian Mary Morales (AKA "Lily.") Violet is also survived by several siblings from her father’s side. Together, they will carry forth her memory with love and resilience. Violet is preceded in death by her father, Jose Fabian Jauregui Martinez.
