Violet Manteuffel Obituary
August 25, 1933 - March 12, 2025
Bellingham, Washington - She was only 91, but what a full life she lived!
Vi spent the majority of her career as a registered nurse at St. Luke's Hospital in Bellingham. Among other responsibilities she was head nurse of ICU, CCU and the Stinson Wing.
Her spiritual mission was core to her life's beliefs. An active reader of the bible and faithful supporter of her church community.
She loved all types of fiber arts, but especially knitting by hand or machine. From baby blankets to sweaters for all sizes and ages, her hands were never idle.
Her family was the center of her world. Their love and appreciation for her devotion is obvious in how her sons, daughters-in-law and grandchildren participated in her care during her later life.
The life Vi lived, all 91 years of it, has enriched the lives of so many. She will be remembered for her love of God and family.
Memorial Service and reception will be held at Life Church, 747 Marine Dr, Bellingham, May 17, 1:00 p.m. Full obituary at mtbakercremationsociety.com.
