Vi Miller 96, passed away at Buffalo Hills Assisted Living in Kalispell, MT on January 29, 2026. She was born on November 9,1929 in Wing, ND, the daughter of Henry and Kathryn Schneider. Vi lived for the first 25 years of her life in North Dakota. She married Cliff Miller and they eventually made their way to Eureka, MT. There they raised four children, Diane Hanson, Deborah Trevino (Jim) of Kalispell, Theresia Beckett (Jack) of Whitefish and Curt Miller (Joan) of Helena, Brother John Schneider of Bismark, ND and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren who loved their GG.
Vi was active in the Holy Cross Lutheran Church of Eureka where she loved quilting and helping with the many duties in the church. One of her joys was teaching the children's Sunday School for many years and was loved by all her students.
She was a welcome fixture at True Value Hardware for many years. Whatever you needed help with she was an expert at. People who came in knew who to go to.
She enjoyed playing with her grandchildren, riding her lawnmower and hunting and fishing with family and friends.
In addition to her parents, Henry and Kathryn Schneider, she was proceeded in death by her husband Cliff Miller and 9 siblings.
Viewing will be held at Buffalo Hills Funeral Home in Kalispell on Thursday, February 12, 2026, from 5-6 pm. Services will be held at Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Eureka, MT on Friday, February 13, 2026, at 11 am.
