Violet Morrison Obituary
Violet Morrison, 72, died on April 12, 2023 at Guthrie Corning Hospital in Corning, New York. She was born May 11th, 1950, in Elmira, New York, the daughter of the late Fred Morrison and Emma (Lunn) Morrison. Violet loved good stories, her children, and grandchildren. Violet had so much love for children that at age 60, she adopted her youngest daughter Maddison. In addition to her parents, Violet was predeceased by her brothers Frederick Morrison, Herbert Morrison, Harold Morrison, as well as her sisters Shirley Smith and Loretta Barnes. She is survived by her children: Frederick Burdick of Pine City; Arlene (Kenny) Ramos of Big Flatts; Jody (Sharon) Burdick, Buster Austin (Jamie Miller), and her youngest daughter, Maddison Morrison, all of Elmira. Violet is also survived by her grandchildren: her two helping hands, Breonica and Katlynn Banks; Megan, Casey, and Kiersten Bailey; Eric Pietro, Josh Anthony, Edward Lewis, Jordan Nelson, and Rylie, Hailey, Jodie, Taylor, and Isaac Burdick. Friends may call at Olthof Funeral Home on Monday, April 17th, 2023 from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm
