Violet May Sutherland

Violet May Sutherland passed February 8, 2014 at the JFK Medical Center in Edison, NJ. Born in Westmoreland, JWI., she has been a resident of Edison for 11 years formerly of Queens New York and Beverley Hills , Florida. while living in Beverley Hills Florida she was a founding member of the Shepard on the Hills Episcopal Church, upon moving to New jersey she became a member of St. Marks Episcopal Church in Plainfield. Mrs.Sutherland was employed as a customer service Representative and Clerk at the Bankers Trust Bank of New York over 20 years before retiring. Predeceased by her husband Harold, brother Ronald, and sisters Rose and Winnie she is survived by her sons Michael (Elaine), and Humphrey (Evelyn) Sutherland, daughters Jean Wright(Ernest) and Opal Sangster(Dave), 8 grandchildren Michele, Andre, Andrew, Christopher, Phillip, Shari-Lane, David, Shelby, 4g.grandchildren Chianne, James, Carter, Adrianna, brother Horace Tomlinson(Monica), aunt "Jen" Tomlinson IN LIEU OF FLOWERS PLEASE MAKE DONATIONS TO THE AMERICAN KIDNEY FUND
